If you are making the room you can go to this room; settings; roles and turn up the speed and sprint multiplier from there :D
Chase
Charder: Right, but you still have to initiate sprint (i.e. clicking in on my thumbstick). In Stunt Runner, I don’t have to click in on my thumbstick; I can just push my thumbstick forward because sprint is always enabled in Stunt Runner.
Glenn Powell
I'm pretty sure you can sprint in any room
Chara_
Glenn Powell: But u want an option to automatically start sprinting
Glenn Powell
Chara_: You can automatically start sprinting. If by sprinting you mean running, where your breath gets heavy. Its different for every headset on the controls. On Oculus you press down the joy stick, so if you do that as soon as you start you will start off running. Also there are times where you want to not run, so auto running would require you to stop auto running in the same since that you need a way to run now. I don't hate the idea but it don't seem like something that is needed since its not hard to run whenever you want as it sits right now. Is it harder on the headset you are using?
Chara_
Glenn Powell: I don't want to have to do that thoughas it adds an unfair advantage against other platforms e.g. PlayStation VR has to double tap movement to sprint that causes them to stop moving then start again
Glenn Powell
Chara_: Aww I see. Honestly I think a better fix would be to have the developers make it easier to sprint on PSVR.
To be honest I find Stunt Runner very buggy and multiple VR systems seem to have advantages over others with many things. For example on Rift I continually accidentally open the Rec Room watch menu by accidentally hitting the hamburger menu on the left touch controller, I once ended up with a camera in my hand while climbing a net. On Oculus Quest the controller is designed a little different and its much more difficult to accidentally press that button so I don't have that issue when on Oculus Quest. So I get your point, but to be honest it wouldn't fix all the unfairness between the numerous platforms because there are other issues like the one I mentioned above. So while I might can sprint faster than you on Rift, your not accidentally opening your rec room watch menu 15 times per race. I think the diversity between platforms needs to be addressed as a whole, not just the one issue you listed.

Glenn Powell: Well the problem is psvr is super limited on buttons, as there is no joystick to press and only 4 extra buttons used, 2 for turning 1 for point/drop and 1 for sliding, but I think it would make the whole situation easier if they just added the option to roles
Glenn Powell
Chara_: I got ya I want them to disable the option to press the hamburger menu on Rift to open the watch menu, drives me nuts.
Exode
Maybe an option for this in the watch options too..? I think I'd really like that.
