There'd be some problems with that. Inputs can't have multiple connections so that would fail. Also if you didn't want the output of the cloned chip's wiring cloned you'd have to then go find the chip the wiring was cloned too to remove it since you can't disconnect a wire from the output pin. That starts a new connection.
