Magic Marker, an all-in-one drawing tool
T55
i think they'd rather just call it "Marker V2" and they'd probably do:
not "Draw" because now theres role restrictions that support anti grief.
stroke.
maybe paint? At least i'd like it, but i dont think they would because that would be a new can of worms to deal with.
erase.
Platte only to select color and size, Stamps are asking a bit much like with stroke types.
maybe create canvas, but then people could probably troll by spawning canvases infront of others and than it'd be more of solving that problem instead of actually improving the marker itself.
Not "Done Drawing" bc not "Draw".
And i think the low polly design is better off as is (nothing agaist yours, its just more efficient on polygons), changing between different tips depending on stroke type is a bit much (but even then, i said they prob wont do stroke anyway), but would have it recolor to what you select in the pallete.
For the Cv2 side of things, it should have an "On board" execution and "On board" boolean, and "Distance" float. And of course have the yellow pin so you could also recolor with circuits n what not (tho probally removing the need for a 'Pen UI' like the Makerpen UI as a whole, which i think devs would most certainly lean towards as its less work and more efficient in which, whatever is more optiminal n such, i understand).

Good idea + it can have skins :D

I can't fully agree with the "Consolidate the markers and eraser into a single tool" thing, but other than that, cool idea!
To build even further, this
could
be a cool tool in the backpack (because of the spawn function). A good implimentation of this idea can be found in Ranenbauer's comment belowAndy Liner
For the eraser I'd like to see variable sizes with a slider for accurate measurements without having to resize the marker :D

I would recommend a thinner design to make it easier to draw but the idea of this is awesome :]

Alongside this, I would also rework the behavior of marker boards/canvasses. The Magic Marker would be in the backpack, like the maker pen. in response, Drawing surfaces would have new configuration menu settings for claiming a board to draw on:
"Display-Only," would not let anyone draw on the board at all. good for displaying art pieces.
"single claim," allows 1 person to claim the board with the Magic Marker. Other players cannot draw or erase a claimed board until the claiming player unclaims the board by exiting drawing mode, or leaving the room.
"Multi-Claim," the first player to claim a board is marked as the board owner. other players can request to join the board, but must be accepted by the board leader.
"Open Board," is similar to how canvasses work currently; any player can draw or erase a board without claiming.
finally, "Can use Magic Marker" would be a room permission setting in the creative category.

This would be awesome!

Exactly! we need this!

“Create Canvas” could be replaced with “Claim Canvas” if needed/contextually appropriate
