Mold Tool -- use hollow shapes to create geometry
Anonymous
A tool that allows the user to make a hollow shape (the mold), using multiple “regular” shapes, then creates an object the shape of the inside.
Ex: Stacking multiple flat shapes to create a L shaped object.
A tool like this could solve several problems. Intricate objects could be created out of a single shape, greatly reducing the amount of ink used, assuming the mold was deleted after the cast was made. The “blurring” that occurs when intersecting seperate objects while trying to create a smooth looking surface would be gone as well. Sharp edged objects would also be possible using this, although I’m pretty sure the devs wanted objects smooth.
I’m not even sure if a tool like this is possible. Even if possible it might be so confusing as to not be easily usable. I still think it would be worth a try, and would like to hear others’ thoughts/suggestions as well.

The Curve Tool/Button Can Curve Any Shape To Make it Smoother Then Having To Make Multiple Shapes To Make it Turn Up , Down , Left Or Right , So a Longer Circle can Turn Curved , An Not Straight , And Wedges can be Curved Around to Maybe Make a Circle Or Horns for a Devil 😈 a.. Derpy Devil?

Subtracting shapes when building

Right now it's difficult to get intricate shapes because of the human limitations of using the shape tools. It would be really nice if I could use boolean operations to do things like take one shape and use it to cut out a hole in another, or to combine two shapes together.

It would allow us to skew shapes as well by cutting material on an angle

Eraser tool

It would be so much easier to make objects with the maker pen more precise if there was some way that we could erode the objects, I thought about how this could be done in a rec room style and this is what I came up with. On the menu for the maker pen there should be another slot that's pink and says "Eraser", if you press the button, one of those big double sided pink erasers spawns in front of the maker pen, once you grab the eraser, you can touch an object you are editing with it and it will delete only in the size of the eraser. I feel that a lot of people have wanted sculpting in rec room and this is the best way to do it. Please comment if there's anything y'all think should be different with it.
