Different hairstyles for the same hair shape

I understand that the title is... well, confusing. I'll explain. So, I wear the long, curly hair, right? It's my most defining feature in Rec Room. And, because of that, if I change my hair, no one recognizes me. I sometimes want to switch it up - but I also want people to still recognize me (I'd like to suspect all my Bob Rosses out there feel the same). So, I propose that the same hairstyle, such as the hair I wear or, say, the afro, have different styles for that hair, as better shown in the drawing below. Basically, it's the same hair, just in a different form. You get the jist. I understand that this may be hard to follow, so if you have any questions or clarifications, feel free to ask me. :D

I’d also want some longer hair styles that go down past the shoulders at least but that may mess with the character models

I feel like the best way to implement this is if you could change bangs separately from the rest of the hair. So you could have any of the hair parts, and then have the option for the back to be different. Then one day you could have your hair down, another day your hair up. There are many possibilities of how to look. And since you could choose to have the same bangs each time, you would still be recognizable!

Klives: Hi, klives! Sorry for the confusion. Let me explain in (hopefully) more understandable terms -

So, in the show Gravity Falls, there is a character named Mabel, right? She is featured in the drawing below. In some episodes, you will find that she changes her hair to a ponytail, shown on the right side of the photo. You'll see two different versions of the ponytail - one circled in green, the other in red. The one circled in green is a good version of how a ponytail would look with her hair - it still retains the original design of her hair. The one circled in red shows a bad example of how her character would look with a ponytail - it doesn't retain the original design at all. She could be an entirely different character with that style. Going back to the point, this post is about taking the hair currently in Rec Room - such as the afro - and making different styles for that same hair model, like changing it to a ponytail, while still retaining the overall design of the hair, like how Mabel's hair was changed. I don't know if that helped, as I tend to write in confusing terms, but I hope this helped clarify things. If you need any more help, feel free to ask me. :D
