The rounded bevel for large or scaled-up Maker Pen objects has been acknowledged as not working very well (esp w/r/t the hitboxes). I think the perfect "happy medium" between sharp edges and rounded bevel (i.e. Rec Room style) would be a toggle slider like this:
. . |--------------|--------------|
Round ---- Sharp Bevel ---- Square
That way, you can select rounded (Rec Room default), sharp bevel (maintains Rec Room style but without the awkward hitboxing and texture stretch associated with the round bevel scaled up), and square (no bevel).
@Tamara Hughes (mamamonkey): While we do have better bevels now, the current implementation does not fulfill this request at all and the post should therefore not be marked as complete.
@Tamara Hughes (mamamonkey): I agree with JollyDog. There is no way to turn the bevels off. Though they recalculate better at different sizes now, this does not seem complete.
@JollyDog: i seem to agree
@JollyDog: I agree, there are still slight bevels.
Good to see this is planned. I hope you can tidy up the hitboxes while you're on - when using primitives to make large scale landscape, it becomes impossible to actually walk on the surface once the geometry is scaled up.

an option to have sharp corners using the maker pen
needed for a long time
It would be nice if there was an option to get rid of the faceted that appears when making shapes like rectangular prisms, pyramids, and wedges. They make it hard to make larger assemblies and leave ugly gaps in your creations.
You know, I had been sticking with the "Rec Room aesthetic" comment when I see the question of the bezel come up. However, the more and more changes are straying from the Rec Room we all "grew up" with has changed. The body styles, the games styles and now the screen mode. Getting rid of the corners might as well be an option and I think the slider, or a 3 step option like this, would be best. Certain creations can still look good with the classic round look, but I think as creators are getting more and more detailed, we need the sharper edges so to not have to over blow the map just make 90 degree corners.
I get why the corners of boxes are beveled. It would be nice if that bevel was consistent though. When making walls, the extreme bevels at the ends are a pain to deal with. It would be better if rectangles had the same bevels as cubes all around, rather than stretching some of them.
Looks like this has aleady been suggested:

@Justin Holbrook: that is the same post xD
@DatKat21: I could be wrong, but maybe that happened when they merged the posts which happened after my comment.
