Considering you can gift items, buy keys/inventions from other players, and all sorts of other marketplace like interactions, sending tokens directly to another player doesn't feel like functionality that we will likely build. Feel free to start another thread if you're still interested.

this comment section is entirely just "oh no people will beg more" whats the big deal, blocking is a thing
SenpaiSausage
This will not only be useless (since we can already gift items) but the amount of beggars that will come from this would be insane. Unless you can only do it to friends, but even then you could just gift them the item they want.
Golden Ace
SenpaiSausage: There's one tiny issue with your argument.
You act like the block button doesn't exist. You act like the votekick button doesn't exist. and most importantly. reporting exists too.
Maybe try one of those before complaining about beggars in the Rec Center.
Plus it's logical to have Tokens as the Prize in game shows. As in getting attention. It would spark a lot of attention. compared to you know. getting a box. Lemme give an example right here.
Survive The Ritual - Compete to win a 3 star box.
Survive The Ritual - Compete to win 500 Tokens.
Which one do you think will get more attention?
BearDaBear
SenpaiSausage: you're literally assuming that when people want to send tokens to a friend its only to buy clothes and items.
mr. waffles
SenpaiSausage: it would be useful like you want to give coins to someone when there a few off to by something or in general also all the items are really over priced unless you have the RR+

I don't think this is a good idea.
Because I'm more than sure that there will be A LOT of people who will try to manipulate the virtual economy (could potentially hurt the sales of the RR+ subscription & other IAPs) by creating a lot of random temporary accounts that they would use to exceed the daily rewards limit on their main account.
This can lead to the creation of online "black market" communities that undercut official IAP prices.
THE NOT SO GOOD SOLUTION
The ONLY WAY for this to properly work is to actually have a requirement for you to purchase the tokens you want to gift with the your real credit card/IAP Payments each time you want to gift someone. (this means you will not be able to gift tokens that you've received from rewards)
WHY ITS NOT GOOD
Even if the "solution" works, I can guarantee you that there will be a lot of heartless criminals & scammers who WILL ABUSE PLAYERS in the promise that they will gift them tokens. (This leads to a lot of platform issues of people scamming one another, solicitation, you name it)
So... Overall, it's not a good idea unless it's executed in a way that gets rid of most if not all potential caveats.

👨🏻💻: I think if you were to make rr+ tokens not count (they already have a system for differentiating them so easier to code) and take like 20% or so it wouldn't
XCP- Shawdow
well there are a few problems with this the obviouse one being
1: this will definantly ruin the economy without a lot of restrictions
2: people could see tokens online and people could pay tokens for less makeing the game unfair.
3: would give another reason for beggers to beg for.
i think that being able to gift soomeone a clothing option or hair is good enough for the economy and i dont think that you shold be able to donate tokens.
Daniel Tate
If they were to really do this they should make it where if you gift tokens you and all your alts cant gift either
Kirby%^
This would ruin the Rec Room economy and they wouldn't make any money at all. You idiot.
Partydonut214 <PSVR>
Kirby%^: How would they not make any money?
Bet Kid
Partydonut214 <PSVR>: It Would But Wouldnt At The Same Time I Understand Kirbys Point You Could Ask A Friend To Grind Tokens While Your Doing Something Else Ect But Your Also Working For The Tokens Technically So It Goes Either Way I Think Its Good Cuz I Cant Pay My Friend Tokens To Help Me In A Different Game. Take Care And Have A Good Day! Edit: Also "lillie (mr cow)" Has A Good Point On This As Well

Trey Martin
Bet Kid: why do you type like that
Lia
you should only be able to do this once you reach a certain level to help prevent abusing. for example you would only be able to donate once you reach level 20 or something like that.
@GentleDuck199
Yas! but when you donate, you can only donate 5000 tokens to an individual. there would be a cool down time of 6 or 12 hours before your allowed to ''donate'' to another or the same player in rec room. RR+ is not part of this donation process.

This can be abused horribly.
og_pickle_
Artist1: no it can’t
Artist1
og_pickle_: It can. Alt accounts can send tokens to their main account.
og_pickle_
Artist1: that’s not bad
Artist1
og_pickle_: It can be.
og_pickle_
Artist1: if I play on a account for a really long time but what if I want to use a different one then I can give myself tokens from my alt
og_pickle_
Artist1: plus ur supporting this
Artist1
og_pickle_: This can be abused due to the fact an alt account can grind up to possibly 40k tokens then send it to an alt or main. Sure it’s a good thing to you and others, but it’s not a good idea. They should at least limit it to sending tokens to friends and others instead of accounts that you own (Using IP addresses in a way)
Artist1
og_pickle_: This could be abused in many ways. I don’t entirely support it. People can beg for tokens day by day, people can scam others, and etc. if you would like losing thousands of tokens via scams, be my guest
og_pickle_
Artist1:Yea a 10000 limit every day or if u used a email to verify then 20000
Artist1
og_pickle_: Maybe you can only send it at level 18, confirm that sending tokens can lead to consequences if used in a bad way, send only 5k max a week and very limited to sending tokens to your main or other accounts you own (ip address being used for the alt/main account part)
og_pickle_
Artist1: maybe 22 so you can send more that way if it’s somebody’s b day or you just wanna be nice then they get more
Artist1
og_pickle_: 22k can be abused horribly. Pass on that one.
og_pickle_
Artist1: level 22 not 22k I ment 10k and I said level 22
Artist1
og_pickle_: My bad, level 18-22 is a good amount of levels for donating tokens
Johnny Walters
Artist1: you are still working for the tokens
HarryPorpise
Artist1: What’s stopping you from grinding up to 40k tokens on your main account?
H0W1Y
HarryPorpise: The fact that it's almost physically impossible to get tokens without spending money or buying RR+
Daniel Tate
Artist1: yeah but not bad because they would have to pay on their alt
Quynh San
@og_pickle_ "It can. Alt accounts can send tokens to their main account." .... so what? the tokens you earned on your alt and main are the tokens you earned. all that's happening is that you're bunching up the tokens you've earned from different accounts. It cant be abused.
Partydonut214 <PSVR>
Quynh San: Tokens and boxes become more rare throughout the day, so logging into an alt account is a loophole with that timer. I see their point, but the real problem here is the box rarity timer. If that was removed there would be no reason to have a alt account dedicated to get more tokens for the day.
Calvin & Gaming
Artist1: if those other accounts have rr+ it's just getting rec room more money which is good, if they don't well they have to actually play the game and that's fine.
