Add a feature to the existing whiteboards where you can claim a board so no one else can draw on it or you can choose who can and can't draw on it. This could be controlled on the "This Room" tab. This could be done through a little icon locate in the bottom corner

This is now possible with Interaction Roles.

Jay: Can you make Interaction Tags? im making a board with a user interface, and i cant have a big eraser erase the board for my "clear board" feature even when i have the role and am the one running the "clear board", so id figure if theres interaction tags, i can config the board to have "Only enabled for:" "board1". And add the eraser to have the "board1" tag.

Speaking of interaction roles, can you add them to Interaction Volumes too?

This can now be done with Invisible Collision zones, using a role for each board. You could only allow players with that specific role to pass through. Then, you can put the Invisible Collision zones in front of the white board. You would need some chips to manage the roles, but it should be pretty simple circuitry.
I can create a proof of concept, and I will later on. When I do that, I'll publish it as a room with maker pen permissions for everyone, so that people can use the mechanism in their rooms.
That said, this should be a vanilla feature in whiteboards, and this idea definitely has my vote.
