Objects or gizmos should output their position
complete
Joker
There is currently no simple way to generate circuit signal based on an object or gizmo's position.
For example, there is no easy way to know how far from zero position a piston has traveled, or the angular position of a rotator.
Making that information available as circuit signal would be very useful.

Ideas for how this could be implemented:
- Configure the object, set a "control position" boolean, and add some pins that output the position and rotation, and pins that allow you to set the position and rotation.
- Make a gizmo, connect it to an object, and add the same pins as #1. This can also be used as a clamp gizmo.

Joker: Would it not be better to mark this as complete?
Joker
yoes: I hesitate in general to mark anything CV2 as "Complete" because it's all technically experimental beta.
But Gizmos V2 are especially incomplete, because we're actively planning an overhaul of them. What you see now is essentially just a port of V1 for the sake of having something to use in the meantime.

Joker: are they getting a redesign? I was imagining they’d look more like the v2 chips
