Output display
complete

Debugging or CV2 programming without easy tools to monitor signal outputs is too difficult. We need a chip or gadget that will display information in real time.
The basic feature needed here is an undefined type input that will have its value displayed, similar to the CV1 Output chip.
Another useful feature would be a display to monitor whether or not an execution signal had been received since some point in time, (e.g. since an execution was received on a "Reset" input).
It would also be helpful if this could be configured with a text label for readability.

This update adds logging to the Palette, making it officially released from beta. =]
Aleteoryx
Jay: could we have the log screen out of beta, too?
Jay
Aleteoryx: We're planning to add a Text Display gadget that will act as the same, but be available out of beta.
Aleteoryx
Jay: ah, nice
Mythic_Impulse
TheGamateers is this going to come out of beta soon? (Couldn’t reply to the message cuz it was buggy)
TheGamateers
This is still marked as In Progress since it is still a beta content tool so this will be marked complete once it is out of beta.
h
Isn't this already done?
Mythic_Impulse
h: it’s in progress because they don’t want to mark anything as complete that’s a beta tool
Aleteoryx
add the rich text formatting like in buttons. colored or bold text could help readability.

planned
The ability to monitor signal outputs in real time is planned.
We're also working on designing additional ways to make output logging more comprehensive and more useful for debugging, testing, and teaching!
