Ability to turn off auto-group chat invitation

Group chats in Rec Room are great. I enjoy chatting with mutual friends together in one big group chat, however with this new feature, anybody on your friends list can instantly add you to a group chat without your permission or request. Especially to those who get lots of messages in Rec Room, being invited to silly and irrelevant group chats are extremely bothersome and lag out my game a lot. I am suggesting either an option in our settings to disable automatic group chat invitations, or to have an invite system that the user must agree to join a group chat, rather than being invited automatically.

I hate being automaticly added to chats!! I have hundreds of unread spam messages in group chats, It sucks

i get into these group chats every 3 days and it's very bothersome. it's always something promotional, nothing of any importance. it's like a robocall.

Yep. I get added to chats with 40 people in by someone without a username every other day. We need this, especially for people who have a lot of friends/subs

I love the chats feature, and I wish there were more ways to communicate in Rec Room. (for instance, voice calls, or video calls through the camera) But when I get added to a group chat with people I don't know and then have to leave, AND THEN get added BACK to that same group chat- is super annoying. Instagram does this feature really well by having "Chat Requests" you can decline it or accept it. I agree with this post because of the fact that Rec Room is wanting to ensure privacy and safety, while they don't have this feature.

I like having the chat system in Rec Room, except when get invited to group chats with mostly random people I don’t know. Then they all leave and leaves a useless group chat that just basically leaves a extra conversation chat in all the conversations I have. I have to constantly leave those group chats and would be better with option in our settings to disable automatic group chat invitations.
