Allow different colors of the same cosmetic to be purchased at a discount
Ryan
-- Dilemma --
Paying $18 for gray-outlined cat ears while already owning black-outlined cat ears feels unfair to the user and could possibly another sale.
-- Resolution --
Allow for players who already own a particular cosmetic to purchase recolored/retextured versions at a discounted price.
--- Example ---
The Firefighter helmet currently costs 900 tokens.
This rework would change that base price to 600 tokens with a 300 per-color-set additional fee. The helmet can not be purchased without first selecting a color scheme which brings the minimum purchase price back to 900 tokens for a first time buyer. From that point onward, any current or newly released recolor of the Firefighter helmet will cost the player only 300 tokens.
Gift prices will also need to take this change into consideration.

Color variants for clothing items
Cpg96
My suggestion consists in the following: instead of publishing multiple re-colors of one item and sell them for the same price as if it were a brand new item, sell the vanilla item and buy a color for that item for half the price of the original item, as an example, headphones. Instead of spending 5000 tokens on orange headphones and another 5000 in blue headphones, buy the headphones in one color (orange or blue) and then buy the color variant for 2500 tokens, like this, the user saves 2500 and the demand increases as it is cheaper and a win/win scenario, i feel like i have not explained myself fully, so i have done a very basic concept art of how it could look implemented in the dorm room mirror, it also saves space compacting 6+ items into one for this case!

I had a very hard time following what the example was trying to say
KoolGuy
Charder: the base value would be 600, but a first time tax would make it 900
Charder
KoolGuy: oh ok thank you for clarifying
Ryan
KoolGuy: This is a better way to say it. I made it too complex.
TL;DR Any cosmetic you buy would be at a lower cost if you own a different color of that same cosmetic already.
