Better Recommendation System

I feel like rooms just don't get recommended to people since most just click the hot tab, and there are few ways for rooms to get popular. Adding some sort of system that is easily accessible, like a menu on the dorm bulletin board that shows rooms that are similar ot other you visit, and in general add less visited rooms on the hot page that have a good cheer ratio.

A quick update here: Our work here isn't done and we are still planning and iterating on a better room recommendations system.
For now, we did add more featured carousels on the Play button as the first thing that users when clicking the Play button to add more focus to newly released and good quality rooms (featured rooms), previous contest winners, and the existing moods playlists built by us.
However, we are still planning and iterating on a better room recommendation system, there's just a lot of work we need to do on our end to get there.

The rooms in the hot tab are always the same, but I’m also kind of glad for this because then the rooms would be dead.

This is something we've been planning for a while.
The Moods tab of the Play menu is the beginning of our experimentation with Recommendation system. We've also talked about user-curated Playlists.
Details aren't solid, but this is a need we definitely plan on meeting.
