Why did rec room feel the need to take away the usage of the grip button for pulling back the bow? I feel it was a very useless to restrain that feature other than it ruins the game for people such as myself who enjoy speed running quests such as golden trophy and crimson cauldron. Please I’d greatly appreciate it if you would bring back this feature, thank you.

Being playing since 2016 and was around when Golden Trophy was added and being using the bow with the grip button to fire as default because it was the right thing to do. Why change it to the trigger and Mess all the players up with the muscle memory in the progress. I really hope they do add a toggle switch for players like they did with sprint because I think we all speak for players that have being a round for a while that this was a bad move.

Also I think it was Hairymanlegs asked for the nerf because he got his but kicked in that YouTuber Royale by Bow and he’s a Rift user.

While I think that this is a good idea, this needs to be a watch feature because I don't want to use the Index grips for knocking along with the trigger.

GrownCanine99: I think most of the players who are upset with this change are Oculus players who used the grip trigger on the Touch controllers.
I agree that a toggle should be added for users (at least for Oculus) that would allow players to opt for previous controls if preferred.

Chase: I'm an Oculus user and I totally understand this change. You don't grab an arrow when shooting an IRL bow with your hand, you use your fingers.

TheMikirog: A lot of users simply are accustomed and prefer the comfort of using the grip button to nock an arrow regardless of how comparable it may be to an actual bow. (Although, you’re still using one finger whether you shoot with the front trigger or grip trigger).
Ultimately, there should be an option that would allow Oculus users to nock arrows with the grip trigger if they prefer. I think we can all agree that users should have access and utilize controls that feel most comfortable/preferable to them.
Even if you don’t see yourself utilizing the grip trigger to nock arrows, I urge you to still upvote this thread to support your fellow users who do wish this option existed.

Just to add on to what I said previously, I think it was such an inconsiderate idea to have removed the grip button for the bows because if people are struggling because they are pressing both buttons why not just add a feature to where the grip button only allows you to pick up objects while leaving the default setting as the grip and the trigger have the same uses.

I agree. Trigger is just weird and uncomfortable to use. Discourages me from playing either of those anymore
