Maybe it's a super rare skin, maybe a ton of tokens, or a month of RR+. Be it what it is, monthly challenges could put even the best players on the stand.
Challenges hard enough to be a big feat to complete, but mediocre enough that any given player can complete it with a month's worth of dedication.
I love to have a challenge to look forward to, and I think many could look forward to it. :)

YES , Id LOVE RR to have monthly challenges but they would have to be tough , like instead of 'Complete Quest For The Golden Trophy' , It could be 'Complete Quest For The Golden Trophy In Under X Amount of Time'! Or 'Play 40 Games Of Paint Ball' Or 'Get 20 Hit Streaks In Laser Tag'. I think the best amount harder is would be 4X because of the ~4 weeks in a month! Although that would make it as easy as getting the weekly 4 times in a row , so actually I think 5X would be better. So 25 hits streaks and 50 games of X.

Great Idea. People get weekly's done in like a day, so making challenges for something exclusive and it takes a while to get is a great idea.

this is interesting bc if that rare item only comes once and never comes back i would say thats a huge pog and yes i do agree with this.(if its cosmetics and weapon skins)

if they dont agree on monthly challenges maybe this: so like depending on how many sets of weekly challenges you complete in that month will determine your prize? not sure if that was conspired in your idea, but i think that would be super cool. would definitely make me more motivated to do weekly challenges.

I remember someone talking about a monthly reward system a while back. He recommend a bingo board-style system. Maybe a 5 by 5 board of random quests and you need to get a bingo to get the monthly reward.
