Since Easy Anti Cheat now supports WineHQ/Proton compatibility layers it would be really co if I could run Rec Room on Linux/Steam deck. But to allow rec room to run on Proton it needs to be enabled in the Epic Games Developer Portal. I really hope rec room gets support for it soon as I would really like to play the game on the steam deck

I like Rec Room and Linux. The one thing about Rec Room that I don't like is that I have to dual-boot Linux and Windows to play Rec Room.

In other words, I want to play Rec Room on Linux, not Windows!

You may not have known, but SteamVR is officially for Linux/SteamOS now and some people (like me) use Linux a lot and hate having to go to Windows to play Rec Room or any other Windows-only VR game. I know it'd no doubt require some code rework (I don't think it'd be much from the PSVR port though, PS4 basically runs 64-bit BSD) but it would be really nice for us Linux gamers to be able to play Rec Room on our favorite OS without having to boot another slow and large OS.

I love Rec Room on my time with windows, but native support is better than compatibility wall. And people have been getting problems through Proton and Lutris, which wouldn't happen with native compatibility. So why not include the linux community? It'd atleast help to make proton more stable with this game.

I know most of you wont vote for this since it doesn't help you, but it wont hurt to upvote this for the linux users. There are many of us out there.

Rec room is getting bigger and bigger by the minute, but it’s not available on Mac. Not all people own a Windows. I know That not everyone uses a Mac, but it would still be good for the people that do have a Mac
