Jay: I wish you could put the streamer camera on quest and stream the view to screen mode PLEASE? you can also take inspiration from puppet fever and its desktop companion app can you add this please?

Aiden omnom143: its not possable on quest. the streamer cam manipulates the monitors view. there's no monitor on quest.

CrispyChickenNugget: You can record and stream from the Quest and Quest 2, but you're forced to do it from the VR screen. Having access to the streamer cam on Quest would make streaming from Quest lightyears more comfortable to watch.

Firestorm185: yeah but how the streamer camera works is that it streams to a monitor while you play in VR mode, but Oculus standalone doesn't let you stream directly to Youtube nor Twitch. also the don't allow a secondary monitor

Bobrobot1: it maybe more limited, but people on PCVR don't just use it for how the monitor sees the gameplay, they also use it for recording which lets you set your pov on screen on that camera while still being able to somewhat record you character

Bobrobot1: you can use your normal controls and if you go to your watch it would overlap over the streamer cam, come to think of it it would be more a "Recorder Cam" instead of a "Streamer Cam"

also an add to that, you have to place your cam first and go and make your view into the Streamer Cams perspective in your settings
