Teleport: Visual percentage bar until next jump

The teleport needs to indicate the amount of time left until the next teleport is available. Maybe the teleport beacon slowly grows to a certain height like a percentage indicating how much time has passed. Or a circle on the ground starts wide and gets smaller. Or the beacon transparency decreases over time.

Honestly, I can only see this being useful for someone brand new to teleporting. As a tele myself (who likely can't ever switch to walking), I'd only support adding a visual if it included a toggle button I could use to opt out.
Once you're accustomed to the tele cooldown, the timing becomes automatic. (It's why so many complain about playing against "veteran" teleporters; they've learned when to click the tele button at the exact instant the cooldown ends, making it harder to track the beam.)
After about a few weeks to a month of regular teleportation, I think that would quickly get old and distracting even for a newbie, as soon as they no longer needed it.

Brittany: You're probably talking about the default cooldown in paintball games. Custom circuits allow between 0-30 seconds cooldowns, which can by changed dynamically in-game, so players need a visual of which cool-down there are currently using. I like to make games where players get slower and slower as they lose health, but it would be hard for them to understand what's happening without a visual indicator.

Duke54: Ah, I see what you mean now. You're right, I was assuming you meant in the RRO games. That makes more sense.
